TMAC’s expert Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) teams engage in the full spectrum of scientific exchange, including: awareness of clinical trials and new approaches to disease management; new product introductions and product expansions; and value-based discussions validated through clinical evidence and comparative data presentations.
TMAC Clinical Specialists (CSs) have engaged in a variety of educational initiatives, including in-services, and have additionally supported patient advocacy initiatives. TMAC CSs are credentialed HCPs, often a PharmD, PhD, MD, or RN, serving as an extension of our client’s Medical Affairs Department. TMAC’s CSs have also been referred to as Field Medical Educators, Regional Clinical Educators, or Clinical Health Educators.
TMAC’s global Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs) foster the exchange of clinical information to raise disease state and product awareness amongst healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, home health care and nursing home/hospice personnel. CNEs also educate caregivers and patients, providing them with injection and administration training techniques, strategies to effectively comply and adhere to their medication therapy and discussions of potential safety issues related to their therapy regimen.
TMAC provides its clients with a range of field medical managed care roles including Managed Care Liaisons (MCLs) and Health Economics and Outcomes Researchers (HEORs). These roles are typically employed with PharmDs, PhDs and MDs who may additionally possess a Masters of Public Health or Business Administration degree.
